GNRC






The Global Network of Religions for Children (GNRC) is the only worldwide interfaith network exclusively dedicated to securing the rights and well-being of children and young people everywhere. Its membership is made up of faith-based organizations, religious leaders, and grassroots community workers from 82 countries on six continents, and represents all the world’s major religions as well as many other spiritual traditions. In all the work of the GNRC, children and young people are active participants alongside adults.

GNRC Joins United Nations to Mark the International Day of Peace
About 500 children from various schools in the city of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania participated in this year’s fete in which the International Day of Peace was marked around the world. The children and young persons from the GNRC Peace Clubs had earlier made 50 'Kites for Peace' which were flown at the seaside Coco Beach area in the afternoon of the UN peace day on 21st September after games on peace conducted by the Right to Play coaches.  More...
