GNRC 10th Anniversary
Being part of the Global Network of Religions for Children gives our youth in Israel a chance to be part of global efforts for a better world. In our region, children are born into an ongoing conflict and attend segregated schools. GNRC gives them a rare opportunity to meet face-to-face, across two national groups and three major faith traditions (Jewish, Christian and Muslim). Children attending our GNRC sponsored program get acquainted, learn to respect their different identities and understand the challenges before them. They discuss their shared responsibility to build a just and a lasting peace.
To bring young people together in this special program is to plant a seed in their hearts: a seed of hope for a peaceful, just and equitable society.
